01 / 05Having been there,
he wants to walk beside you.
He came to Canada in junior high, while his English was still developing.
From the flight, to the school board’s assessment, to entering a local junior high school, he found himself surrounded by English and an entirely unfamiliar world.
He still remembers not understanding the conversations around him, and how unfamiliar everything felt.
Now, in the age of AI, he wants to help students going abroad for the first time make sense of what feels unfamiliar, one step at a time.
This is where Kinthought and Digital Sam begin.
From a journey abroad
to wanting to do a little more for you.

Facing a new assessment, and a new education environment.
Entering an English-speaking school, and gradually finding familiarity in its classes and everyday life.
Turning those early difficulties into a reason to do a little more for the next person going abroad for the first time.
Helping you on your first journey abroad,
is also a way of helping my younger self.
